Dog Food Aggressive

dog food aggressive
How do I stop my dog from being aggressive with other dogs, including his brother.?

They are 8 month old Malamute Husky and Blue Brindle Pit mixes. One dog lives with my girlfriend and the other with me. We share time together. Her dog is food aggressive and toy aggressive. There have been some serious fights, two of which I have been bitten. My dog is submissive but is now starting to stand his ground. They are large. Right now I stand in between and they will go weeks or months before something happens. Her dog however does attack other dogs over toys at the dog park. Help.

You could try to neuter the dog, but teaching the “leave it” command would come in handy. It sounds like her dog isn’t well socialized and wants to be alpha. Believe it or not Malamutes have been known to be aggressive due to poor breeding. Same goes for Pitbulls. That doesn’t mean they can’t be trained out of it.
