Dog Food Firm Stool

What veggies can I used to harden my dogs stool?

My dog has food allergies so the she’s on a vegetarian dog food for a while until we can pinpoint what the issue is. Problem is that it makes her stool soft (which in turn makes it so her anal glands fill up). What veggies or fruits can I give her that would firm up her stool? I think white rice would work, but just wondering if there’s anything else.

Pumpkin and Winter Squash, works every time!! White Rice will help also! Get Pumpkin in a can, make sure it is 100% Pumpkin and NOT Pumpkin Pie Mix!! Winter Squash is every where now, just cube and boil until tender. I leave the “skin” on and then remove it after it’s cooked, much easier to remove when cooked! Good Luck!!
