I know that this might seem a little odd to be saying that, but I have a dog that is allergic to corn and pork. If you go to your local pet store and pick up most of the major name brands of dog foods the main ingredients are going to be corn meal. Which my pet is allergic to so if I give him any of those he breaks out in hives really bad. With the kibble that I make in my own kitchen I am able to avoid the foods that he is allergic to.
The second reason is because instead of using the meal which could be parts that you wouldn’t even want to consume you can use the whole portions which can lead to a spoiling of your pet, but they need spoiled to! So just being able to use the actual real portion instead of a meal can be a very big benefit to your pet as well.
