Dog Food Treat Recall List

Pet Food Recall–I bought some Jerky Treats?

Hey everyone!
I bought some of the Del Monte Jerky Treats. Luckily, I hadn’t opened the package yet. The Code Date is NOT on the recall list, but I think I should throw it away anyway. The way this recall is expanding, I think it may be safer to throw away a $2.00 bag of treats rather than to risk my dog’s health.
What do you think I should do? Throw it out or not?
O.K. everyone. As I have said, the Jerky Treats that I bought do NOT have the same expiration date as the ones that are recalled, so taking it back to the store is not an option.

Don’t throw it away, take it back to the store, get your money back and they can dispose of it properly. What if some dog or cat got into your garbage and ate the treat?? Plus you might as well get your money back.
