Dog Food Switch?
I am a terrible pet owner as I have been feeding my dog science diet. Shame on me I know. I am planning on switching her food. I have four choices and was wondering if anyone can offer any input. A little about the love of my life, she is a 4 year old yellow lab. Here are my choices. Also any advice on how to transition her to the new food would be greatly appericated!
1. Blue Buffalo
2. Solid Gold Barking at the moon
3. Innova
4. Pro Plan by Purnia
The person at pet co told me that transistion a dog to more natural food is not an easy process. My poor baby has leaking eyes after eating and I can tell she hates her food. Please help!
Any of the top 3 are great! And, the person at Petco is a dunce! All you need to do is slowly mix your dog’s new food into his old food- if done slowly, your dog will have no trouble adjusting! (the only comment, is that blue buffalo was one of the foods on the recal list.)
