What good is holistic food if the dog won’t eat it?

Everyone on here tells me to feed my dog Blue Buffalo or Natural Balance or foods in that category, but my dogs don’t like them! They do, however, love the Royal Canin or the Nutro Max. What good is feeding my dog the “best” food if they don’t like it? I mean, I don’t see anything wrong with feeding Royal Canin or Nutro. My dogs don’t have any allergies and they are very healthy. All the “best” foods have fruits and veggies in them, but do they really need all that? Dogs in the wild just ate meat! My vet says to feed my dogs whatever they enjoy. Does anyone here agree? After all, pet food companies have spent years of research formulating their foods so how can they be as bad as people on here are saying they are??

Evanger’s or Fromm are good foods that smell and taste great, at least I’ve never seen a dog refuse them. Also, dogs in the wild ate meat, but they would also eat grass, fruits, and bark if there wasn’t meat available, so yes all that other stuff is important to their diet too. Pet food companies don’t always use all of the good stuff either, and feeding a dog a meal that is mostly corn or corn meal is like giving a toddler mountain dew. It only lasts for a little while, and then they’ll want more (also causes more hyper dogs).

Evanger’s also has canned food. My neighbor uses it and showed it to me. There was a can of chicken drummettes. THERE WERE WHOLE CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS IN THERE! They were steam cooked, so the bones could be mushed up with your fingers and were completely edible. This is real food that dogs like and it’s good for them.

Fromm smells great, and I assume it tastes the same. It’s also less expensive than Evanger’s. Try these out.
