Science Diet Prescription Dog Food

My dog has bladder infection and urine crystals.?

My vet insists on Hill’s prescription diet but I strongly dislike Hill’s because of the horror stories on the web. I worked in a pet store for years and saw the damage science diet does to many dogs. I really do not want my dog on this crap food, are there any alternatives? I will give him the antibiotics of course to clear the infection but what can I do for the crystals? Is Purina UR better??

royal canin also makes a urinary formula or you could try adding water to your dogs food to help dilute out the urine. this worked for my dog with crystals. take the amount of food you feed and add that amount of water.
